Choosing Hotel Paradiso means more than just a seaside holiday: here, every day offers the chance to discover a different beach, each with its own soul and story. Elba Island, renowned for the variety of its coastline, offers secluded bays, hidden coves, white cliffs, and sandy shores, all just a few minutes’ walk or drive from our hotel.
Considered one of the most beautiful beaches on Elba, Sansone can be reached from the hotel in about a 10-minute walk. The candid white pebbles pair in a dazzling contrast with the emerald green of the water, weaving crystalline plays of light. It is an unmanaged (free) beach, wild and spectacular, much loved by those seeking crystal-clear sea and postcard-perfect landscapes.
Directly beneath the hotel, accessible via a short flight of steps, the equipped Viticcio beach is a little gem. The sea here is transparent and turquoise, with seabeds rich in fish and marine flora: a true paradise for those who love snorkeling. Thanks to its secluded position, it is perfect for those seeking relaxation and a swim away from the chaos of the larger beaches.
A few hundred meters away, Enfola beach combines the sea with historical memory. Until 1959, it housed one of the island's most important tuna fisheries (tonnare); today, the promontory remains, transformed into an open-air museum that narrates a piece of Elban tradition. Here you will find a small marina and a diving center, ideal for those who want to experience the sea even beneath the surface.
Small and intimate, Prunini beach is located about 3 km from the hotel, along the road leading back towards Portoferraio. After a short 50-meter path, you arrive at this secluded and quiet bay, with no services or establishments: just clear sea, peace, and unspoiled nature.
Among the icons of Elba Island, Capo Bianco is one of the island's most beloved beaches, characterized by smooth white stones and transparent sea. It is located about 1 km from Prunini, along the road to Portoferraio, and is partially equipped with sunbeds and umbrellas for rent. Its natural beauty and accessibility make it one of the island's most popular destinations.
In a half-hour walk along a cool coastal path that crosses the National Park, you can reach three of Elba's most famous beaches: Biodola, Scaglieri, and Forno. Biodola is wide and sandy, lively and frequented; Scaglieri is secluded and picturesque, with a more intimate atmosphere; Forno is the smallest and quietest, ideal for families and couples seeking privacy.
